Me and Jon were working so hard on our projects (supposedly) in the Santa Fe Springs area of Southern California for hours past lunchtime when our stomach's demanded some reimbursement of energy. So we decided to walk around the area instead of driving a bit to get fast food. Luckily, there was a sandwich shop not too far away with good home styled meals and sandwiches. It was called Sako's Sandwich Shop and it served one of the best pastrami sandwiches ever... really really really close to The Hat's standards. My initial pick was the corned beef w/ all the trimmings, but unfortunately that was only for St. Patrick's day.. of which they still had the banner for it up.. damn them.. I also suggest that you get the combo meal with your order cause you get a choice of fries/chips with a fountain drink.. They even have a choice of Horchata or fresh (or at least it's labeled) orange juice with free refills. If your ever in the Santa Fe Springs area.. hit this place up!

Ps. do not, I repeat DO NOT get the horchata if your getting the pastrami.. it doesn't mix well.
